The Joanet Guarda house was built at the end of the 19th century. At the beginning of the 20th century, our family acquired the house, although at that time it did not have the dimensions that it has today.
Over time the house was enlarged and reformed adapting at all times to the needs of the time and the activity carried out in it.
In times past, the house had rooms for storing cereals, raising animals and producing wine. Over time, all this activity stopped being carried out by our family and the spaces that were used for it were transformed into spaces for rest and well-being. The last reforms carried out date back to the end of the 20th century when the terrace was built that our clients can now enjoy.
At the end of 2014 is when our family decided to allocate the house to rural tourism since it had already ceased to be our habitual residence and in this way we could continue with its conservation and maintenance.
Since then there have been many travelers who have visited us and many who have let us know what a great stay they have had,
without luxuries, without large spaces but a cozy house , well cared for and with the charm that our grandparents' house always has.

Joanet Guarda only offers its clients a full rental of the house, although the number of open bedrooms will depend on the number of people for whom the reservation has been made.
That is, a double bedroom per couple.
